Solid and elegant!

This is the perfect tote for everyday use. I've only had it for about two weeks, but it seems extremely durable, and I expect it to last at least a decade. Love the zippered compartments and the water bottle pockets on the side, and the burgundy color is stunning. I'd appreciate the option to add a decoration to the front zippered pocket!

It's what you want.

Awesome bag, just as expected from Waterfield. Quality materials and craftsmanship, thoughtful design based on customer input, aesthetically pleasing. If you want a packable tote that is in the goldilocks zone between good capacity and durability as a bag and useful, quick packability for storage/packing in another bag, buy this one.

Side note - Waterfield absolutely slaps but I'm not sure why they recommend using WD-40 to maintain certain zippers. It's cleaner and more effective to use an actual light lubricant rather than a water displacer that happens to sort of lubricate, just my 0.02.

Packin’ Tote on the Daily

This bag has quickly become a daily carry - it’s versatile, spacious and stands up on its own. The carry straps length are sized perfectly for hand or shoulder carry, never hitting the ground. It looks damn good in the cranberry color. Expensive as far as tote bags go, but it’s clear the design was thoughtful, and justifies the cost.

Packable Tote - first two weeks

I purchased the Tote as a replacement for a shopping bag I had for 15 years to do the weekly grocery carrying and as a general purpose walking around bag when abroad on holiday. The packable tote of made to a high standard with durable materials and looks good. There is no reason why it would not last for the next 15 years. The only issue is that I would have preferred it to have a zip closer to cater for rainy days or a person dipping into it in crowded areas.

THE MAGICAL MATERIAL

With input from over 1000 customers, we set out to design a packable bag ideal for both travel and every day.

To support multiple uses, we created a custom-made material that combines Taslan — a high-tech woven fabric that feels natural and substantial — with a layer of tricot mesh for structure and a water-resistant coating.

This durable, lightweight textile still looks crisp and unwrinkled even after it has been stuffed or folded.

THE FLEXIBLE, DURABLE TOTE

The Packable Tote squishes down quickly and folds into its own pocket. Weighing less than a pound, it's designed for using in a pinch or for every day. It has a nice, substantial, natural feel.

It's strong enough to hold a variety of items, like groceries, sports gear, books, documents, souvenirs, and anything else that needs carrying.

You'll like the extra details like a lined interior to withstand normal wear and tear, waterproof zippers on pockets, and two wide side pockets for water bottles.

HOW TO FOLD

1. Lay the Packable Tote flat and take out the interior pocket.

2. Fold into thirds toward the middle.

3. Roll from the bottom toward the pocket.

4. Turn the pocket inside out and flip the roll into the pocket.

5. Zip it up and go.
