Great Bag

I needed a bag to carry my glasses, phone, and keys. I have many Waterfield products but looked at other manufacturers also. The best option for my needs was the Waterfield Compact Essential Crossbody. It was not too big or too little. It’s very light weight and in addition can also fit a small water bottle. I chose the ballistic nylon as it wears very well. So another beautiful, well designed, and quality constructed Waterfield product added to my collection.

A home for a new MacBook Pro 16

I bought my first iPad slip case when the iPad was first introduced in 2010. I’m still using the case, but now it contains my 5th generation iPad (yes—it is time for yet another upgrade😁). The case has survived well these many years, and I have also been using a Finn wallet for many years. Needless to say, I have been aware of, and been a fan of, Waterfield for years. When it came time to upgrade my iMac desktop computer to a MacBook Pro laptop computer, I knew I would need a case for it. My thoughts went immediately to Waterfield. The only question was slipcase vs. crossbody bag. I contacted Waterfield for advice, and they were very helpful. I went with the Essential Crossbody, and it turned out to be the correct choice. My first memory of it was how impressed I was with the design. The MacBook Pro 16 is not a light device. When I put the strap over my shoulder, with the computer in the bag, I actually felt no weight on my shoulder. The bag makes it very easy to carry the computer for long periods of time. The bag has the expected quality of construction for which Waterfield is known, and looking at the bag, the extensive thought that went into the design is evident. There are useful compartments, as well as handles where they should be. In addition, there is padding where it should be. Overall, this is the perfect bag for my computer. Exactly what I was looking for

The devices that I commonly carry around are 1) a 13” iPad Pro 2024, 2) an iPhone 15 Pro Max for work activities, and 3) an iPhone 16 Pro Max for personal activities. I was looking for a light weight cross body bag. This Essential Crossbody from Waterfield is exactly what I was looking for. So far, I’m very pleased with the high quality of the material, the carrying strap and the interior protection that the bag provides for my devices. It’s also easy to carry.

Small and mighty

I have many back but this little guy has moved to the top of my EDC list. It’s rugged and sturdy. Fits my iPad mini perfectly. Room to carry the other essentials like battery pack, cable, AirPods, wallet, and keys. I like the tall vertical vs. the horizontal wider bag layout. It’s rough canvas is perfect. Makes it less of looking like a woman’s purse. I look forward to purchasing more bags from this American company instead of some cheap Chinese company. Worth every penny
