So Close to Great

The look and craftsmanship are top notch. I wish the large version was just a touch bigger. My 14" Samsung tablet JUST fits, forcing me pull the corners bag over the corners of the tablet. My biggest gripe is the admin panel. There are 4 pen slots that can hold nothing but a pen, and one larger center area that is not deep enough, so everything you put in there will dump out. This panel is the only bit of organization this bag has and it is really not useful. Love the look so much, I am trying to dyi a solution.

Perfect Sling for EDC

Was looking for a nice sling to use for every day carry. Bought the Shinjuku Sling and I live it but it is a bit small. This (in the compact size) is perfect for my needs. The build quality and materials are what keep bringing me back! Looking to get the Pro Executive Backpack next.

The iPad compartment is too small, I have the Logitech keyboard and it fits very forcefully 😞 I feel a little disappointed

Upgrade from Compact to Full Sutter Sling

After many years of use, I finally outgrew but certainly didn't wear out my Sutter Sling Compact.
I wasted hours searching for a less expensive but equivalent sling and then ordered a Waterfield Full Sutter Sling

Good quality and stylish bag

I liked the vintage style of the sling bag. The leather details also give it a lot of character. I would have loved if it was also offered in an even bigger size. Even the full size turned out to be a bit small. Regardless, it’s a great buy that will probably last for years 🙂

HOW TO FRESHEN UP YOUR CANVAS

Keep your bag looking new by applying wax when you think it needs a little refresh. Although any wax is applicable, you can use Martexin Original Wax which was initially used to coat your canvas bag.

CARING FOR YOUR LEATHER AND WAXED CANVAS

If you have the waxed canvas and chocolate leather version of the Sutter Tech Sling, Gary shows how you can maintain these materials so they’ll look great over time. We use full grain Roughman Leather for your bag which has oils that respond well to heat.
