Essential Crossbody

I now have two Essential Crossbody bags: the iPad mini size (a couple of years old), and the 11-inch iPad size (this purchase). The smaller is very basic, with an unpadded pocket that barely fits the iPad mini with Apple Pencil, no internal hand pockets, and an undivided front zipper pocket. Not the worst experience, but I wouldn't mind having more organization. The larger, though? Padded pocket for an 11-inch iPad (mine's a Pro with Magic Keyboard), a couple of internal hand pockets for extra organization, and separation in the front pocket as well (including a safe space for keys attached to the key tether). So all the issues of the smaller version are addressed. The larger version comes with a 1.5-inch strap with cam lock, an upgrade in comfort and stability over the smaller version's 1-inch strap.

I chose the black ballistic nylon, no fancy color, for both, as that's my esthetic. And I'm glad I did. Waterfield's black ballistic is my favorite of their body materials, with great texture, a bit of luster when the light plays across it, and sturdy structure. While it's not made to fit everything in the world, either size makes enough room for glasses case, contact lens solution, sunscreen — the essentials for me — plus some cables, charger, all the tech doodads. And even when packed, the bag stays light and slim. Very easy to carry around.

The quality of the bag is great. Its a really nice bag, shockingly so when considering the affordable price. Its a much higher quality bag than bags twice the price made in China. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a travel bag for my 13” I-Pad Pro and came across this beautiful Essential Crossbody Bag. In this day and age , one never knows what to expect when ordering online. Although I thought the bag was a bit speedy, I quickly changed my mind after seeing the product itself. This is a bag I will have for many years to come. The bag arrived quickly and was everything I was looking for. It is very well made, with many compartments so it holds everything quite nicely for travel. I was so impressed with this bag that I had to immediately order a second one for my husband for our upcoming trip. Again, the second bag arrived in approximately 10 days. The communication from the time of my order until the time the order arrived was superb!! I absolutely wound not hesitate to recommend this bag, as well as this company to others.

A perfect bag to replace my backpack that carries the essentials, computer, kindle and phone… when traveling with a carry-on. It fits perfectly under the seat or behind legs when traveling on an airplane.

It is very well manufactured. The texture feels nice and the zips are from good quality. The shoulder strap is very useful and I like the color. Great purchase
