WaterField Unveils Special Edition CitySlicker Case Colors for Nintendo® Switch OLED
San Francisco, CA, October 8, 2021—WaterField Designs celebrates the release of the Nintendo® Switch OLED with upgrades to the company's popular CitySlicker Case for the Nintendo Switch. The CitySlicker refresh includes a new white leather and black ballistic nylon version to match the Switch OLED, waxed canvas and grizzly or chocolate leather models in response to enthusiastic customer requests, optional sling straps that match the CitySlicker, and riveted magnetic snaps on the flap.
Now gamers can carry the Nintendo® Switch OLED hands-free with an optional sling-style strap that sports an easy-adjust camlock buckle and a leather pull tab in colors to match the leather CitySlicker flap.
The sophisticated CitySlicker OLED cases protect and secure the Switch OLED console with Joy-Cons attached, hold five or more games, and store Joy-Con straps, a USB-C cable, and earbuds.
The plush interior is lined with soft, no-scratch material that cushions the Switch OLED and keeps it looking new. Firm padded stiffeners extend the case outward on each side to keep the analog sticks in a neutral position, and neoprene padding lines the bottom to protect the console. A soft, protective Ultrasuede® pocket faces the console and helps to keep the screen clean and scratch-free.
A full-grain, dual-layer, leather flap attaches to the body of the case with two magnetic snaps. Underneath the flap, five leather slots hold game cards or microSDs.
A stretchable, semi-opaque, back pocket closes with a self-locking zipper and holds additional games or other small accessories. At the bottom of the case, a thoughtfully placed loop lets users easily slide the Switch OLED out of its cushioned cocoon.
Optional attachments include new matching Sling Strap for carrying the case crossbody, carabiners, and a leather wrist loop.
The new 1-inch-wide nylon strap attaches to the case with metal snap hooks and adjusts easily with one hand via a convenient camlock. A full-grain leather pull tab matches the color of the CitySlicker.
The upgraded WaterField CitySlicker cases are now available for the Nintendo® Switch OLED/Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and each of these handhelds with a Skull & Co. (or similarly sized) GripCase.
